2 Snowflake cards for TupeloDesignsLLC

Tuesday, January 23, 2018

Hi friends. I have two cards today for TupeloDesignsLLC. Before I get to my cards, I wanted to let you know that the store is still having its birthday sale throughout the rest of this month. Click here for all the details, savings and gifts that you can earn.

On both cards today, I used the gorgeous Swirly Snowflakes and the Mini Swirly Snowflakes from Tim Holtz. With both of these sets, you get 6 snowflakes in 3 sizes each.

For my first card, I heat embossed the same snowflake in all 3 of the sizes. I then used Blueprint Sketch and Shaded Lilac and ink blended the backgrounds. I finished off the card with a heat embossed sentiment from an older MFT set.

For my second card, I die cut my ink blended panel with MFT's Stitched Mod Rectangle Stax Die-namics. I added some water droplets with my Tim Holtz Spritzer and then stamped the large snowflake.

Sending you a Smile with Honey Bee Stamps

Monday, January 22, 2018

Happy Monday friends. I hope your week is off to a good start. I have a fun flowery card to share with you today using stamps and dies from Honey Bee Stamps.
I started by stamping out a few of the images from the Busy Bees stamp set. I then colored them in with Copic markers for some quick and easy coloring.  I die cut this panel with an edge die from MFT.
I stamped the sentiment onto the bottom of the card panel and then added the die cut Smile.  To finish off the card, I added some clear Stickles to each of the center flowers.

Hugs with Simon Says Stamp

Thursday, January 18, 2018

My card today uses one of Simon Says Stamp's beautiful rubber background images that they came out with several months ago. The one I used is the Star Flower background. I knew I wanted to heat emboss the image and then do some ink blending over it.

So, that's what I did. I heat embossed it in white and then blended on some soft colors of Distress inks over top of it.  I die several of the hugs words and stacked them together for a more dimensional sentiment. I added some Nuvo Drops (which match better in real life than they do in the photo).

And there you have it - a quick and easy card. Crafty hugs!

Friends Today, Tomorrow for Whimsy Stamps

Wednesday, January 17, 2018

Happy Wednesday friends. I'm back today with a  card for Whimsy Stamps featuring the newly released You're my Always stamp set. I just love the large script words in the set along with all the other words that you can build with.

I started my card by die cutting a white panel with the 2nd to largest dies from the Hand Stitched Nested Rectangles. I then stamped the Always portion of the sentiment. I then stamped the following in this order. Tomorrow, today, friends, and, forever.

HINT: I stamped the smaller sentiments one by one so that I could have the words closer together than you could if you laid out all the images at once.

I finished off the card by adding one of the images from the Fadoodles 2 stamp set and matting my panel onto some patterned paper.

Thanks so much for visiting today. I'll be back later this week.

2 Love cards for TupeloDesignsLLC

Tuesday, January 16, 2018

Hi friends. I'm back today with two cards for TupeloDesignsLLC and both use the super fun and perfect for Valentine's Day stamp set from Concord & 9th - Love you So.

Don't forget that TupeloDesignsLLC is having their birthday celebration until the 31st of this month and you get all the presents. Click here for all the details.

For my first card, I started by taking one of the images from the set and I inked it up with three different colors of red ink from Altenew's Red Cosmos ink collection to give just a bit of an ombre effect.  I then stamped one of the sentiments underneath that. I die cut this panel with the Wonky Stitches die from Avery Elle and then matted it onto some black card stock to make it pop just a bit more.  And this card is complete.

For my second card, I used a different image from the Love you So stamp set and stamped it three times down the center of my card stock.  I added some black card stock again, rounded the corners with my Corner Chomper and then some black enamel hearts to finish it all off.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope you are each having a great day. Crafty hugs!

You Have a Heart of Gold

Monday, January 15, 2018

Welcome friends to my blog today where I have a CAS card to share with you today.  I started by taking some gold embossing paste and applying it over the beautiful Geometric Heart stencil from Echo Park.  After the paste was dry, I added my sentiment panel. I rounded the bottom two corners and added some fun enamel dots from the MME Yes Please collection.

And that's all there is to it. Crafty hugs!
