Tuesday, September 26, 2017

Hi friends. I hope you are having a great week so far. My card today is for TupeloDesignsLLC and features some fun products from Concord & 9th. If you're a regular to my blog, you know that I absolutely adore this company and all their innovative products.  And TupeloDesignsLLC carries all their newest releases. Click here to see everything from Concord & 9th in the store.

For my card today, I started out by taking the Aloha-Fill-In stencils and blending on some inks over a sheet from the Aloha Fill-In Patterned Paper .  I then stamped the fun sentiment from the Hooray stamp set.

I matted the panel with some matching pink card stock and added a few enamel gems and this card is done - and it took no time to make.

Thanks for your visit today. I hope to see you back here again soon. Crafty hugs!

Fall Trees for TupeloDesignsLLC

Saturday, September 23, 2017

Hi friends. I have a couple of super CAS cards to share with you today for TupeloDesignsLLC. As soon as I saw the Fall Trees stamp set from Hero Arts, I knew I had to have it. I love the look of it and I knew that it would make making CAS cards a breeze.

I started out by stamping the tree image and one of the sentiments from the set onto my die cut panel. I then took 3 of the other images and stamped them using a green, orange and red ink for my fall tree.

I added just a bit of detail with my Copic markers to ground the tree image and the card is done. I'll be mass producing this one for sure to send some autumn greetings to friends and family this year.

CFC#183 -- Shaker Cards

Thursday, September 21, 2017

Happy Friday friends. There's a new challenge at CAS-ual Fridays  -- shaker cards. They are still all the rage and they are just so much fun to make.

I started by stamping on some acetate with white Staz-on ink one of the sentiments from the Dream Then Do stamp set from CAS-ual Fridays.  I then constructed my shaker using a die from my stash. I love that even with all the sequins that I added, you can still see all of the sentiment.

I hope you'll participate in this challenge. You have a chance to win up to a $50 gift certificate to CAS-ual Fridays.

Thanks for stopping by. Wishing you all a wonderful day.

Foiled Butterflies for Whimsy Stamps

Wednesday, September 20, 2017

Happy Wednesday friends. Thank you for stopping by today. I have 3 cards to share with you today for Whimsy Stamps, all using foiling.

For my first card I applied some DecoFoil Transfer gel over the Flight of the Butterflies stencil from Whimsy Stamps. After it was dry, I then ran the panel through my Minc machine with some rainbow foil.  The results is what you see below.  I love that you can now use foil with your stencil designs. I added a sentiment and some Nuvo enamel glitter drops.  I popped up the panel with some foam tape.

My second card is a bonus card using the leftover foil from the card above. I added the foil to some toner paper and this is what I got.  I finished off the card with a sentiment from the Simple Sentiments stamped onto a banner die from the Sentiment Banner Dies - ON SALE NOW FOR 50% OFF.

For my last card, I used the same Flight of the Butterflies stencil but this time ran it through my Mini Minc machine with gold foil onto some kraft colored card stock.  The sentiment is from the Everyday Mini Sentiments stamp set.

And there you have it - 3 different foiled cards Thanks for your visit. Crafty hugs!

You Are for TupeloDesignsLLC

Tuesday, September 19, 2017

Hi friends. I'm so glad you stopped by today. I have a fun card perfect to send to a friend or loved one for TupeloDesignsLLC today. This is one of my most favorite stores to shop at as they have so many wonderful brands to choose from and they offer FREE shipping in the US with no minimum purchase.

I started out by taking the Cube Builder stencil from Altenew and blending on some Distress inks. I then used my Tim Holtz Stamping Platform to stamp the sentiments which both come from MFT's All About You stamp set. I love the big bold YOU and all the sub sentiments.

I also decided to stamp a matching envelope. I used the fun heart image from Concord & 9th's Love Notes stamp set.

Thanks so much for your visit. I wish you all a most wonderful day.

Thank my Lucky Stars for Whimsy Stamps

Wednesday, September 13, 2017

Welcome friends - I'm so glad you stopped by today. I have a fun card to share with you today using stamps and dies from Whimsy Stamps along with some Color Burst powders.

I first started by working on the colored portion of the background. To achieve this effect, I spritzed my water color card stock with water and then added the powders on. When these powders come into contact with water, they move on their own and you get a really cool effect. I was going for somewhat of a rainbow look here. I absolutely love how this panel turned out.

After it was dry, I stamped the stars on the background with the Basic Christmas Backgrounds stamp set from Whimsy Stamps. I then one of the dies from the Hand Stitched Borders die collection and ran that through my Big Shot on all 4 sides to add the stitching detail.

I then die cut the tag using the smaller tag from the Stitched Tags die set. The sentiment is from the Shine Bright stamp set. I added it to my card with some foam tape and then finished off the card by adding some of the Summer Breeze enamel dots from Whimsy.

And there you have it. Thanks again for dropping by today. Crafty hugs!

Let's Celebrate with Pinkfresh Studio for TupeloDesignsLLC

Tuesday, September 12, 2017

Hi friends - thanks so much for stopping by today. I have a card to share using products available from TupeloDesignsLLC. I am using a brand new to me today, Pinkfresh Studio and boy, am I in love.  Click here to see all of what the store has to offer in this brand.

I am using the Let's Celebrate stamp set and coordinating die. And this isn't just any coordinating die. It cuts out the inside portion and around all the fun images - a genius idea. And while I didn't do so on today's card, this stamp and die set would make a great shaker card.

I started by using the Let's Celebrate die to die cut my paper. I then lined the stamp up using my Tim Holtz Stamping Platform (currently on sale for $6 off) for placement. A bit of simple Copic coloring and my card is complete.
