Hello for Honey Bee Stamps

Monday, July 24, 2017

I have a fun card to share with you today for Honey Bee Stamps. I had so much fun playing with my Ken Oliver Color Burst Powders a couple of weeks ago that I had to have another go with them. To achieve the look below, I first sprayed my paper with some water. I then added the Color Burst Powders over top in shades of blue and purple. I adore the fun affect this gives and how easy it is.

After my panel was dry, I stamped the beautiful Zen Floral image from Honey Bee Stamps onto my panel and embossed it with detail white embossing powder. I then die cut the Hello several times from white card stock - this comes from the Hello Gorgeous die set. I adhered all of these together and then added a liberal helping of the Clear Wink of Stella over the top layer. I die cut my panel with a rounded stitched edge die from my stash and then added a few sequins from Honey Bee Stamps - the Clear Iris mix.

Welcome friends. I have a CAS card to share with you today for TupeloDesignsLLC.

I couldn't resist this fun stamp set from Concord & 9th - Globe Greetings. I started by stamping the base of the globe. I then stamped the water portion and then the land portion. I finished off the card by stamping a sentiment from the same stamp set and then popping up the panel on foam tape.

Just a reminder that TupeloDesignsLLC has FREE shipping in the US with no minimum purchase required. International folks can also earn FREE shipping as well - click here for the details and purchase amounts required.

July Whimsy Stamps Release Day 3

Friday, July 21, 2017

Happy Friday friends. I have one more card to share with you for the July Whimsy Stamps release. I am using the super cute Dancing Treats stamp set on today's card.

I decided to make a fun shaker card. I started by doing some distress ink blending onto a panel that I die cut 4 rectangles out of. I then stamped the cute pie image onto 3 of the inside panels and the sentiment in the other one. I did a bit of quick Copic coloring and then added foam tape around the perimeter of the card and the middle sections as well so that each individual rectangle was its own shaker portion.

July Whimsy Stamps Release Day 2

Thursday, July 20, 2017

Welcome to Day 2 of the Whimsy Stamps July release. Today, I am showcasing the beautiful Little Birdie Told Me stamp set.

I started by doing some stamping and masking on both corners of my card panel. I colored the flowers with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers and then stamped my sentiment. And wouldn't you know, I got a big black smudget above the sentiment.

I did not want to start over so I decided to split the panel and cut a chunk out of the card panel, removing the boo boo.  What do you think? I'm thinking that this is one of the times where a mistake ended up making things look great.

I finished off the card with some sparkling clear sequins.  Thanks for your visit. I'll be back tomorrow to wrap up the July release.

July Whimsy Stamps Release Day 1

Wednesday, July 19, 2017

Welcome friends to Day 1 of the July Whimsy Stamps release. I have two cards to share with you today. I did want to let you know that all the new products are available now in the store - click here to go shopping.

For my first card, I used the super cute Paper Dolly Polly stamp set and the coordinating dies. I started by stamping the fun doll image and then I did a bit of real simple Copic coloring. I then used the coordinating dies to cut out the cat costume. The sentiment is from the Simple Sentiments stamp set. I die cut the panel with one of the dies from the Hand Stitched Nested Rectangles die collection.

For my second card, I totally cased this fabulous card from designer Linda. I started by adding some messy paint strokes to my background. I then stamped and die cut the fun Dracula image from the Dracula I Compel You stamp set. I then stamped the bat images and the sentiment, all from the same stamp set.

Thanks for stopping by. I'll be back tomorrow with another project from the newest Whimsy Stamps release.

DT Project for TupeloDesignsLLC

Tuesday, July 18, 2017

Welcome friends back to another post for TupeloDesignsLLC. Today, I am using some fun Lawn Fawn goodies.

I started by doing some ink blending with some Distress Oxide inks in Faded Jeans, Cracked Pistachio and Broken China. I then took my Tim Holtz Distress Sprayer and added some water droplets to my panel. After it was dry, I ran it through my Big Shot with the Stitched Cloud Backdrop: Portrait die from Lawn Fawn. I love the detail this adds.

I then got to work stamping and die cutting my birds, sun and bee from Lawn Fawn's Hello Sunshine stamp set. I colored the images and then stamped my sentiment which is from the same stamp set.

And there you have it - another card for my stash - perfect to send to a friend or loved one to brighten up their day.

Thanks so much for dropping by today. I'll be back here starting tomorrow for the July Whimsy Stamps release.

Hugs for Honey Bee Stamps

Sunday, July 16, 2017

Hi friends. I'm back with another card for Honey Bee Stamps. For today's card, I started by heat embossing the floral images from Honey Bee's Country Blooms stamp set onto 2 corners of my card panel. I then heat embossed the beautiful sentiment from the Hugs stamp set.

I then did some ink blending with some Distress inks onto some Bristol Smooth card stock. After my blending was done, I sprayed the panel with some water to add the texture and water droplets. I tell you - this technique never gets old for me.

I die cut the panel with Honey Bee's A2 Double Stitched Frame dies. I then added a piece of fun foam behind this panel to pop it up.
